I will work within your limits and gradually build your strengths and flexibility Your goals are a priority and whether it is learning how to relax and reduce anxiety or developing strategy interventions it can be useful to talk to someone not connected who will listen, support and collaborate with you.
Kia Ora! Welcome! to Mona Vale Ave Counselling, Christchurch
As an experienced counsellor I hold a Masters degree in Counselling, an undergraduate degree in psychology, and a postgraduate certificate in behaviour change.
I offer a confidential space for clients to discuss issues so that they may overcome their difficulties. I encourage clients to talk about their feelings in a neutral environment so that together we can explore choices and goals, discuss strategies, develop plans, and build support.
In building a therapeutic relationship with clients I have noticed that being able to talk with someone who stands outside of the problem, who is non-judgemental and unbiased, often helps the client feel lighter, calmer, and more relaxed.
